They are provided the body with a good sauce of food energy because of the amount of calories within them. Because of their chemical constituents, they enhance ease of digestion and elimination.

The amount of calories in an apple is not a very high amount as is recorded in relation to other foods on the calorie scale. It is for this reason that they are highly regarded as not only a good source of nutrition but also provides individuals with other constituents that are readily digested by the body. It is advisable to consume an apple a day.
